And I see something. You probably seen this before, but I think no one ask.I think, it is better to sell when Daily high is created by bullish candle, and when that candle close near Daily high. But if our SL is bigger, our reward (%) will be smaller. Curious about your view on position sizing in your models. It seems a number trend traders have differing views on position sizing and I am unsure if one is correct or not, perhaps it is more a matter of risk appetite. Some risk 1-2% up front on one initial trade, do not add positions, and do not scale out, i.e., it runs until exit conditions occur.
Others start off small, say 0.25% and then add positions if an when the trend continues, supposedly to control drawdown -- the theory being that it is better to take a number of small losses and then scale in when the whale surfaces. I suppose the choice is keyed to the trends that one is targeting. C, Thank you for your posts, entertaining music and other selections, as always.
About me ChaosTrader3 is a forex trader specializing in trading the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo.Founder of FX At One Glance which is designed to help traders reach their financial goals through a personal relationship based on personalized, knowledgeable training. More recently, it seems that the numbers I hear are 95-5, so even worse.FXCM recently released a report showing, according to them, retail forex traders received better executions than institutional or exchange traders. In my experience working for two FX brokers, they are exactly right.
Retail traders get ridiculously great pricing and fills. How is it that retail traders are getting better pricing, but they still lose on a higher percentage of trades than institutional and professional traders.
